Hey y'all! I just got back from Stagecoach and it was literally the most amazing weekend ever! I had been dying to go to this country music festival for seven straight years...literally. The first four years I couldn't go because I was at Vanderbilt taking finals and the following three years I felt bad taking a mini vacation during baseball season because my husband couldn't go. Thank goodness I finally realized that he doesn't have FOMO like I do and is totally fine with me going to events and having fun!
Soooo I flew all the way from Boston to San Francisco to Palm Springs for three days to meet up with my sorority sister and a bunch of my friends to finally experience my first Stagecoach.
Don't worry, it was everything I hoped and dreamed for ;) From pregame's to riding party buses to and from the festival, to dressing up in cowboy boots and sundresses, I pretty much felt like I was at Vandy again. Oh, and I should mention my parents were also there too for my mom's birthday. That part didn't feel like my Vandy days, however, running into them at the concert was fun and they both repped their Red Sox gear proudly.
My fave acts were Dierks Bentley and Cole Swindell on Friday, Dan + Shay on Saturday, and Thomas Rhett on Sunday. Shania Twain was great too but she forgot the words to one of her songs and stopped to admit it, which was pretty funny. Unfortunately, we had to fly home before Kenny Chesney on Sunday so we were bummed we missed him.
Already missing my CA friends and I can't wait to go again next year... but next year I promise not to lose my voice after the first night so people can actually hear what I'm saying. Rookie mistake.
