Spring Training Wardrobe Necessities (FL & AZ)

Hey guys! Happy baseball season. Drew has officially become a member of his 6th baseball team, the San Francisco Giants. Now that we have spent a lot of time in both Florida and Arizona for Spring Training, I thought I would finally answer the numerous questions I have received about what to pack for Spring training.

So let’s get to it…

Necessities for Florida Spring Training: Beach & Ballpark outfits

  • Workout Clothes: leggings / shorts, sneakers, tops, sports bras, tennis outfits or golf outfits if you play either of those sports.

  • Ballpark Outfits: Remember that Florida is very humid. Stick to cotton dresses, denim skirts or shorts, tank tops, baseball caps, cute baseball t-shirts.

  • Night Outfits: White jeans, colorful tops, light sweaters or light jackets because it can be windy. A few dresses and wedges.

  • Beach Outfits: Swimsuit, coverup, sunglasses, beach bag, beach hat, sandals. Buy there: beach chairs, beach cooler for drinks or food. Optional: mini portable speakers.

  • St Patty’s Day: Don’t forget to pack your green!

  • Rain jacket!! Florida tends to have sporadic storms so make sure to have a light rain jacket or a windbreaker with a hood.

  • Bug spray (if you’re like me then you’ll definitely need mosquito repellant. I tend to get completely attacked)

Arizona Spring Training: Desert means hot days and cold nights!

  • Workout clothes: Leggings / shorts, sneakers, tops, sports bras, tennis outfits or golf outfits if you play either of those sports.

  • Ballpark outfits: Jeans, dresses, denim skirts/shorts, baseball hats, sunglasses, purses, cute baseball t-shirts or tanks. Denim jacket depending on weather.

  • Night outfits - Sexy mini dresses and heels for nightlife activities. Black jeans, booties, leather jackets for casual dinners. Sweaters for chilly nights. Mix of Vegas/Nashville/LA vibes.

  • St Patty’s Day: Something green!

  • Pool: Bikini / coverup if you’re likely to go to W rooftop pool or any pool parties.

  • Other: Sunscreen for desert sun. Leggings and casual clothes for wandering around. Layers! For some reason it has been cold this week but hoping it warms up soon! Hydration water backpack if you’re into intense AZ hikes.

Hope this helps!
